Please help im freaking out?

my 2 kids are autistic and my girls coccateal and my sons finch got in a fight the finches top beak was riped off i live in the middle of no where and im waiting for a bird vet to call me back so i can take the bird to him please help what should i did this was an accident is the bird gonna die what do i do
