Strange kind of bully?

for about a month now, i have been really into magic, houdini, and criss angel and all that. i got criss's book, and i wanted to show my teacher, so i did the other day during homeroom. (we have a long homeroom) when i did he saw the ones of criss levetating, and i said i believe he can levitate. we got into a debate, and i ended it with "i bet that by the end of the year i could levetate. the next day i started talking about houdini, saying a buch of quotes, talking about what he did, and my said nothing, UNTIL a few days ago when we got report cards. i went up to his desk to tell him something, joking around about what we did in science. as i was leaving he said, "hey i have a new nick name for you, houdini wannabe" he has really been ripping on me for likeing magic so much an!d knowing so much about it. i really hate that alot of ppl think i am weird for liking magic, even my teacher! i really need some help on this because my teacher cant help me with this bully! Please help! thnks
