Do you in the USA think that Britain threw out the settlers who colonised North America?

If you study your history (as indeed i have) you will find that prior to the discovery of Australasia, England transported her criminals to North America. One of the reasons that Captain Cook set out to discover new lands was that the colonists and settlers were becoming increasingly concerned at the amount of cargoes of prisoners sent to North America. They were used as a form of slave labour at this time. After Britain stopped transporting criminals (which included Women and Children) to America because we were using the Australian continent the slave trade from the African continent increased to feed the demand for labour. Life was cheap then and Death was a constantly stalking companion.
