I just made a new friend, and my mom made me seem like a creep...?

i have recently made a new friend at crew. last night was the crew banquet, and i said goodbye to her and stuff. my mom walked up to me and asked who that was. i said her name, and my mom rushed up to her and said "OH! Hi, Im erica's mom. She talks about you all the time." okay... i texted her and was like "im not as much of a creep as my mom says i am." and i could tell she was wierded out. I dont really talk about her alot, i just told my mom about how i saw her at kiss concert. What can i say to her when i see her tomorow, so she wont think im such a creep? (were new friends, i dont want this to ruin it...)
