1991 honda prelude not wanting to start?

well, i have a 1991 honda prelude 2.0si 5 speed.....well it all began with the distr. it was getting oil in it from the o ring going bad.....so i replaced it....well its tried to start then it did nothen but crank....so i bought another distr. cause i figured the pick up coil went out in it...nope......did the same thing....tried to start then nothen at all.....welll i tried usen starting fluid still didnt cange anything....it dont back fire or nothen.....so i checked the timming....and its in time......well i put it back together today and i noticed if i let it set for a while it tries to start thats all.....i had the coil checked..its ok....what could be causen my car not to start???? it ran fine b 4 i jerked the distr. and now nothen.....
