The morgaget companys are LIEING!!! HAS ANYONE ELSE BEEN LIED TO?

Does anyone know the the Mortgagee company's have been lieing to their costmurestelling. HSBC told me that I would have to be in default to modifies my lone. I called H.O.P.E and they said they get at least 4 to 5 phone calls about this.. IT"S NOT TRUE!!!
