Iran conflicts? whats happened!?

i was just wondering recently as to whats happening between iran and the us?? i mean a few months back we couldnt go a day without hearing that we,re on the brink of war with iran, but then all of a sudden nothing at all!?? its all gone quite?? could someone shed some light on what you thinks happening?
