How do i deal with my daughters grandparents?

my best friend has a biggest problem ever, the father of her daughter and her are not together, they share all parent duites.... sometimes. his parents on the other hand are a little looney, my friend has made it very clear to them that she doesnt want her daughter being pushed into a religion, they do it anyway, they go weeks and weeks without talking to their granddaughter, then just showing up on halloween without calling or even a small email, they stood their granddaughter up for a fund raiser for her daycare, they just think it is ok to "pop" in and out id her daughters life, her daughter is more confussed then anything. my friend doesnt know if she really wants her daughter to go vist them anymore, they read the bible to her befroe bed, and alots of thing she has asked several times not to do around her child. let me know what she should do.
